Its always like a dream come true to reach that day you have been waiting for, it is every woman’s dream to get married, so once you get the chance, make sure you dress to impress everyone, make sure you opt for a hairstyle which complements your face shape, skin tone and makeup. To a certain extent you can’t style your own wedding hair so that it fits in exactly what you really adore to your special wedding day,
…. you need to look for a good wedding hairstylist around your community. In most cases brides wear flowers with their wedding hair, but you have to be very careful when your choosing these flowers, it has to match with the color of your wedding dress, for example; if the dress is white, complement it a white flower.
TIPS FOR USING FLOWERS IN A WEDDING HAIRSTYLE:
– Flowers should match with the gown:- Don’t mess up your looks with a miss matching flower, not necessarily that this flower has to look exactly like the color of your dress, you can opt for complementing colors, for example you can match a red gown with a white glittering rose, a pink / yellow gown with a light pink roses, if you love black, you match it with a red gown.
– Buy a durable flower: – Even though a wedding is for one day, the chances of wearing that flower after a wedding are very slim; however, you need to opt for a durable and classic flower. It can be very embarrassing if you wear a cheap flower on your wedding day, it will not match well with that expensive gown.
Short wedding hairstyles for black women
Not necessarily that every bride should have long hair, naturally black women are blessed with short hair, however, most of them resort to long hair extensions to supplement the short natural hair. On the other you can still style that short hair in an amazing way and look beautiful on your wedding day. In the picture above I have featured four beautiful African American ladies with super natural short hair, you can complement this type of hair with a flower or a veil, if you love curls you can style your hair like the lady in position 7, yet those with bangs, you can opt for style 5.
Long wedding hairstyles for black women
If you’re lucky enough to have natural long hair, you can style it in a flattering manner, it is your wedding day so you have to look glamorous. In this case, you can opt for a long wavy wedding hairstyle like the one in position 12, or you can opt for big waves like the ones in position 11. On the other hand, you can attach a veil on this long hair to supplement on your looks.
Wavy wedding hairstyles for black women
Some women are naturally blessed with natural wavy hair, styling this type of hair is very easy, it does not matter if you have short or long hair, waves look fabulous on any type of hairstyle. However, ladies who have straight hair, you can use a curling iron which has a big barrel to make a thick wave. On the other hand, I don’t recommend you to style your own hair for wedding; you need to attend to other matters like inviting guests and so much more, this means you have to assign this tusk to an experienced wedding hairstylist.
Curly wedding hairstyles for black women
There is something good and unique about curls, they look good on almost every woman, if you have natural straight hair, you can change your looks on that special wedding day and opt for a versatile hairstyle. I know most of you can make these curls by your self at home, but I would not recommend a bride to style their own wedding hair, because it will consume more time yet you have to attend to other factors and you also need to get enough rest so that you look pretty and stress free on that long awaited day.
Wedding hairstyles for black women with Bangs
If you have a bang, you can style in an amazing manner, however, you have to consider the shape of your face, for example, if you have a round face like the lady in position 23, you should consider a front bang, yet those with square / oval faces you can opt for a side swept bang like the on in position 24. Tell your hairstylist to style that bang so that it matches with the rest of the hair, those with a front bang, you have to trim it evenly so that it stops at the same level above the eye brow.
Braided wedding hairstyles for black women
Embrace the little you have, African American women are naturally blessed with thick short hair, it is possible to grow short hair long but the process is quite long, so you might be out of time, which means you need to find a quick fix, in this case, you will opt for a braided wedding hairstyles like the ones I have featured in the picture above.
